Freedom House

‘Freedom House’ is a non-profit organization that researches and advocates democracy, political freedom, and human rights. The inspiration for this design comes from notable Graphic Designer, David Carson. It uses his chaotic style of displaying typography that boggles the mind, yet still maintains to get the message across. From Sketch to final rendition, you can understand where the process started, when it was reviewed, and how it was finished. The first ‘Final’ lacked emotion or a ‘shock and awe’ factor. It was very black and white, and the graphics were barely noticable. The ‘Final (Revised)’ had the original image replaced with an explosion and a child soldier, which seemed to fit more with Freedom House’s moral agenda.
